The fast Ramy Jimmy Overton was excluded from the remaining two internationals in England in front of the West Indies with a broken finger.
Overton suffered a broken small finger while trying to get a return hunting during the huge victory of England in the match in Edgbaston on Thursday.
The 31 -year -old left the field immediately for treatment, but he returned to a bowl and took three share.
Overton is expected to be out of about a month, so it will also miss the three T20S against the West Indies that follow ODIS.
No alternative to the second ODI was called in Cardiff on Sunday, when England managed to secure this series.
