The departure of Thoroub means that 14 of the 24th championship clubs have changed the managers this season – a third coach to lose his job since the start of the weekend in Easter after Omer Riza from Cardiff City and Tony Mogabrie from West Bromwich Albion.
He was appointed in a three -year contract, but he was forced to manage without a prominent member of the team last season, Jonathan Rowa and Gabriel Sarah, who were sold by the club.
Norwich lost his opening match for the season in Oxford United, but he continued to be defeated at home until 2-0 defeat by Bristol City on November 9.
They only managed from one point from four games in December, but they got 10 points from the next four after the Boxing Day 2-1 won Millwall.
Emiliano Marcondes and Anis Ben Slimane have been added to an experienced team that contains Borja Sainz, one of the most exciting players in the section, and American international striker Josh Sarrgent, who scored twice in 5-1 victory over Swansea in January when the Canary remained on the outskirts of the next image.
But Sainz served as a ban from six spitting spitting matches in Chris Mifam from Sunderland and a 3-2 defeat by Sheffield on Wednesday, March 11, the eight poor running that eventually led to the fall of Thoroub.
Their only victory in that period was success 1-0 against West Brom, with the permission of a goal in additional time by Sargent.
The club has been owned by the American FB Holdings Mark Mark Atanasio since March, to replace the long -term shareholders Delia Smith and Michael Win Jones.
Thorup Attanasio visited the United States during the international break last month, and then said: “We discussed everything from the strategy to developing players, from how to do things now to how to do them in the future, (that was useful) also to get some inspiration from each other and get a feeling of where we are as a team.
“We refer to the team – the United States of America and the British team here – because we are doing things together. It was a good way to align everything.”
Modern results, though, means that the play and management hall section has now deviated from alignment and Norwich began searching for a new coach in the hope of great improvement in the next season.
Atanasio stated last November that Norwich would become a Premier League team again for three to five years.
The club won the upgrade from the championship three times in the past ten years, under the leadership of Alex Neil – now Millwall Boss – in 2015 and Daniel Fark in 2020 and 2022, but each of these successes was followed by residency in one season in the lead.
