Row is one of the three players in England U21 euros to play football in the club abroad, along with Toulouse's defender Charlie Kriswell and Brock Norton Kofi. Jobe Bellingham, now in Dortmund, was also named in the team at first.

There are many recent success stories for young English players away from the United Kingdom, such as Angel Gomees in Lille and Conor Gallagher in Atletico Madrid.

But moving to Row has come again with challenges.

Only six league matches began last season, with 22 other games that come from the bench.

“It was difficult for me personally, it was difficult for the whole season,” Row said. “The next change was from Norwich, as I was a major player in the team and then coming here represents a major challenge with the expectation of performance.

“I embraced it, and it was difficult. It was often Turkish from the beginning, and it is clear that it affected me a little, I think everyone can see it. I continued to go, and this is the main thing.

“Although I was some days, I had to look at the biggest picture, which is combined as one team we have a goal, and I have to do as much as possible.”
