The couple was in a relationship for nearly two years after meeting at LSU University.
Skenes, 23, is the stars jug at Pittsburgh Pirates, and has won the title NL Rookie for this year in his first season.
Dunne left the tigers in April five years later as a gymnastics expert in the college.
“The time is flying when you enjoy,” she wrote in farewell to destroyed social media.
