Then there was confusion about the place where the two leaders should stand before they advanced to take a picture in a meeting in Canada.

The embarrassing moment came just one day after Sir Kiir forced to save the day when Donald Trump dropped the paper business of the UK's commercial deal on the ground.

South Korea leader only won power after his election two weeks ago.

Starmer said that the United Kingdom and Korea “have a good strong relationship.”

He said he wanted to “strengthen it further” in areas that include “strengthening the free trade agreement”, defense and security.

He agreed to “we must make progress in updating the free trade agreement.”

The Prime Minister also said that no one should worry about the health of the US President after dropping the papers.

Trump also said that the United States had signed a trade deal with the European Union instead of the United Kingdom.

Sir Kerr said: “No. I mean, look, there were not many options with documents and their choice, because they are one – as you know mostly that there are strict rules about who can approach the president.

“I mean, seriously, I think that if any of you had moved forward with my misfortune … I was deeply aware that it was in a position as if it could have any other person had moved forward – and not that any of you rushed!

“There is a very protected security area around the president, as you expect.

“But no, he was in good condition yesterday, and I mean that we had – I don't know the number of sessions yesterday together like the G7 and then in the evening session too.”
