Mac Hansen agreed to a new two -year contract with the Irish Football Association, which commits its future to Ireland and Konache until the summer of 2027.
The 26 -year -old Australian citizen joined Koncht as a qualified player for Irish in 2021 and has received 27 Ireland's hats since his international appearance in February 2022.
The wing was nominated for the World Rugby Breakthrough Player of the Year Award in his first season at the test level, with his international attempt now 12 years old.
“Since his move to Ireland, I loved my time and I am happy to sign this new contract,” Hansen said.
“I would like to thank IRFU for putting their faith in me and I am very excited for the future.”
IRFU performance director David Humphrez Hansen described as “the main pillar of Ireland and Conaccha in recent years.”
Humphrez added: “The insurance of the signature of Mac during the next season is a big boost for the Irish men.
Hansen Ireland helped get Six News Grand Slam in 2023 and is part of the team's attempt to achieve this feat again this season.
The Six Nations Campaign in Ireland will continue on Saturday in the home competition against France.
