Manchester United transfers: Club confirm deal to sign Wolves striker Matheus Cunha

Manchester United agreed to a deal with wolves to sign the Brazilian striker Matthews.

The 26 -year -old is scheduled to become the first United signature in the summer after the club activated an issue of 62.5 million pounds in the Wolves contract in Cunha.

The former midfielder who attacks the former ATLETICO MADRID will sign a five -year deal in Old Trafford, with another 12 -month option.

It was in Manchester during the weekend to complete a medical with the club.

The deal, which is subject to the approval of the visa and registration, is expected to be completed, as soon as Cunha returns from international service with Brazil later this month.

Cunha left the Lowry Hotel in Salvord on Sunday morning to join the national team.

Brazil Ecuador faces Thursday (Friday 00:00 GMT) in the World Cup qualifiers, which will be the first match for Carlo Ancelotti.

The attacker scored 31 goals in 76 wolves games after completing a permanent step in 2023.

He joined the club in a deal worth 35 million pounds from ATLETICO MADRID, after a successful talisman for six months in the previous season.

Robin Amorim is keen to strengthen United's attack this summer after the worst Premier League campaign – they ended in the fifteenth place.
