For more than a decade now, it was just a narrow circle of Michael Schumacher's closest closest to the full details of his medical condition. Despite the wave of speculation, continuous media chatter, and even shocking attempts to blackmail, solid information remains very limited.

While a lot of curiosity is rooted in widespread admiration for the Formula 1 legend, the public's constant interest greatly stems from the really few known for its current situation. Corina Schumacher, his wife, has led the efforts to guard the privacy of 56 years since the devastating ski accident in December 2013.

Schumacher was severely shocked in the brain after hitting his head on a rock while skating with his 14 -year -old son, Make. It was placed in a medically impossible coma for more than eight months and has not appeared one year since the accident.

Since then, Corina supervised his care in the first place at their residence in Lake Geneva. Only two chosen health care workers and a few reliable individuals have been allowed to see. Reports now indicate that the family also lives part -time in a drug specifically adapted to Mallorca.

Korina remained so silent regarding his health, sometimes she spoke in public places. She did not reveal any important medical updates and requested that privacy continue.

In the 2021 Netflix documentary, she said: “We are trying to continue as a family, the way Michael loved and still is. We continue in our lives. It is very important for me to continue to enjoy his own life as much as possible.

“This was the most shocking situation. Korina was unable to go to a party, lunch or this – it's like a prisoner, because everyone wants to talk to her about Michael when you don't need to mention it every minute.”

Wrong hope and misleading

Various optimistic stories have appeared recently, indicating improvements in the Shaomacher case. Last year, German outlets stated that Schumacher had attended the wedding of his daughter Gina Maria to Ian Beithik, where it is claimed that the guests were asked to hand over their phones to ensure that there are no pictures of Michael. However, these reports were later rejected.

More hope gained traction when Schumacher's signature appeared on a helmet for the jacket legend Jackieststart as part of a charitable auction. Former teammate Johnny Herbert speculated this positive progress and promised that one day we could see Schumacher in the F1 field again, according to Wales reports online.

However, it was later confirmed to sign the helmet. More reliable sources near the family confirm that Schumacher is often bedridden and unable to speak.

Former Flavio Prayer coach this week participated: “If I close my eyes, I see him smiling after victory. I prefer to remember him like this instead of lying on the bed. Corina and I am talking a lot.”

“I see it regularly and with affection, he and his family. Our link goes beyond the past work. It is part of my life, and today it is very far from the formula 1.”

Schumacher “Partially impotent”

In March, German journalist Felix Journal presented a healthier picture of Schumacher's situation, saying: “He is a person who relies on caregivers, who can no longer express himself through language. We just cling to hope, to straw. But he simply does not see him again.”

Earlier, a 10 -year mark has been reported since the incident receiving Schumacher has a 24 -hour medical supervision from a team of about 15 employees. Amid the narrow secrecy veil, the family targeted a criminal group trying to blackmail 12 million pounds in exchange for private photos and medical data.

Three men were charged at Wupertal, Germany, for the plot, including Markus Fritsche and Yilmaz Toztukan, who threatened. Frechch received a two -year prison sentence, and the worker Daniel Lenns avoided the prison for a period of six months. The family appealed the decision, and the sanctions found very lenient.

Prosecutors revealed that the stolen material showed that Schumacher was “partially powerless, in need of care and a sign of clearly” due to his injuries. Nowadays, the possibility of a general return is still very unlikely, despite the hope that fans have made through recent reports.
