Three major health care providers closes 1700 sites amid the in -depth retail crisis.
Pharmacy giants blame the needs of consumers, the purchase of customs, and population shifts for closure.

CVS and Walgreens closes hundreds of stores across the country amid increasing financial pressure and changing consumer habits, while Rite Aid has provided bankruptcy.
Rite Aid, one of the largest pharmacy chains in the United States, applied to bankruptcy of Chapter 11 in May, where about 316 closed stores.
Before, the pharmacy runs 1,240 stores in 15 states.

The company cited huge debts and thousands of cases related to its role in the opiate epidemic.
Since then, it has closed hundreds of stores and plans to close hundreds in the coming months.
According to CNN, Rite Aid is trying to restructure and sell the remaining stores for competing chains to survive.
But in many societies – especially rural or deprived areas of services – this promise is already in short.
Walgrens has revealed plans to close about 1,200 stores across the United States, as the pharmacy also fights a decrease in consumer spending.
Until August 2025, the company estimates about 500 stores closed.
The company has entered into an agreement to purchase it by a private stock company and the deal is expected to be closed at the end of the year.
For CVS, store closure has occurred in the country since 2022, when 900 stores were closed in just two years.
The company’s heads said that the closure was a means of betting on meeting the needs of consumers and not in response to the “pressures of industry.”
They added that when the stores were the most needed, the company will open new CVS stores.
“Even after reorganization, 85 % of people in the United States are still living 10 miles from the CVS pharmacy,” said a spokesman.
Although CVS did not issue a list of closed stores, it is expected that the sites with interference or low fall will be the first to go.
A timetable has not been given yet.
But it is not all bad news because CVS is still expanding.
The company plans to open 30 new sites this year, including the targeted interior stores, and has added 100 new sites since 2022.
This comes after CVS confirmed that it would provide about 2900 jobs as presidents revealed that they will invest in technology.
The discounts will affect in the first place within the corporate sector, according to the subsidiary CBS WPRI-TV.
Mike Diangee, the spokesperson, explained that job losses are the result of changing shopping trends, expectations and turmoil.
Discounts are part of a $ 2 billion cost -cutting campaign aimed at reducing work expenses.
Tribes will also look at ways to enhance efficiency within the company.
The executives have warned how important the company is able to compete.
They also tried to provide a reassuring message to shoppers.
“The cuts will not affect the functions of the front line in our stores, our pharmacies, and distribution centers,” said Diagheris.
