Neymar, the top scorer of the pioneering Brazil, renewed his contract with Sabya Santos club until December.
The 33 -year -old returned to the Brazilian club in a six -emotional deal in January after completing his contract with the Saudi Professional Team.
Neymar scored 141 goals and achieved 69 passes in 243 SCT.
The Paris Saint striker and former Barcelona striker were linked to returning to Europe before signing a new deal with Santos until the end of the Brazilian league season, with the option to extend it.
Neymar said: “I made a decision and listened to my heart,” Neymar said.
“Santos is not only my team, it's my home, my roots, my history and my life. Here I was a boy who became a man, and I am really loved. Here I can be me, really happy.
“This is the place where I want to fulfill the dreams lost in my career. Nothing will prevent me. I go, go back and stay. Everything started and where it will never end.”
Neymar was summoned to the Brazil squad after an absence of 17 months in March, but he did not appear in the World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina.
He scored 79 goals in 128 Brazilian matches, but has not represented his country since he was injured in a knee against Uruguay in October 2023.
