New York City must prepare for bad air quality and foggy sky on Wednesday-but it cannot be blamed for the lower conditions of stars in the continuous Canadian forest fires roaming north.
The national weather service issued an air quality alert to all Big Apple and the rest of the triple area, warning people of some ages or with health conditions to take it easy because they are trying to reach the middle of the work week.
The dangerous air is expected to continue between 11 am and 11 pm, but it cannot be attributed to smoke from huge fires that are torn through parts of Canada.
Instead, the simple old summer weather is the potential perpetrator.
Carl Ericsson, meteorological specialist in Aquoyeth, told the “The Post:
He said: “Canadian smoke of fires in the upper atmosphere is just a kind of causing the sky to appear blurry,” noting that smoke is not close to the surface to influence people's breathing.
He added, “It will be more visual,” which makes sunrise and sunset look more vibrant.
He said that air quality alerts will be a common scene during the summer months, especially in urban areas such as Big Apple.
The fires north of the border led to harsh conditions in parts of the Middle West, where some states have developed alerts that air quality was “very unhealthy.”
The Menaabolis-Saint-Paul area of smoke was on Tuesday, even when the rain fell some unbearable smell.
More than 27,000 Canadians have been forced into three provinces to flee their homes since last month, so that smoke reaches some Europe, causing a foggy sky, but not unhealthy air.
The city wrestled with a surreal orange sky and terrible air quality when smoke from Canadian forest fires descended in New York in June 2023.
