Paige Pockers has the entire city of Hopkins behind it – even by name.
In a greeting to one of its most accomplished population, Hopkins, Minnesota, will temporarily rename itself “Paige Buickers, Minnesota” on May 16, 2025.
This special appointment coincides with the appearance of professional basketball for BuECKERS after being the No. 1 selection in the WNBA draft of 2025 by Dallas Wings.
The Hopkins City Council unanimously approved an announcement to honor the wonderful achievements.
The day will be officially recognized as the “Paige Bokerz Day”, with local companies participating in special offers of a special nature and hosting watch parties in the opening match of the wings season.
“Hopkins would like to honor its accomplishments and we wish it good luck at the professional level through the May 16 announcement on the day of Beckers Beckers and the city renamed to Paige Bokerz, Minnesota for this day,” the declaration decision. “We are calling on society to celebrate the start of the WNBA season with Think Hopkins and our local companies at Watch Day, where companies will get special offers under the title, broadcast the game and celebrate the opening of the season – because everyone is watching women's sports.”
The basketball basketball march increased at Hopkins Secondary School, where she gained national attention and became the number 1 in the country.
Hopkins was this year's GATOREAEDE, Morgan Wooten player and Naismith Prep for the year, along with a basketball in McDonald's high school and Queen Minnesota.
