Parklife festival pioneers received a sudden update that one of its main stages was closed, noting “safety” fears as a reason. The celebrations were asked earlier to evacuate the Matinin stage, after a decision by Heaton Park Festival Chiefs to stop the Arena Arena program based on “advice from the safety team”.
DJ Josh Baker of Manchester and Denmark Chris Stosos lined up for theater on Sunday evening. In a post at Instagram Heart, Baker, who was scheduled to exceed 6:30 pm, from 8 pm, expressed his regret saying that he was “very sorry” he could not take the stage.

In a new statement issued this evening, Parklife spokesman announced: “As a result of the Matinin crowd movement and the advice of our safety team to remove the risks of any possible incidents, Parklife made a decision to close the theater for the remainder of the last day of the festival.
“Unfortunately, it was impossible to transfer Josh Baker and Chris Stosos offers to a new stage. Our teams worked quickly and controversy to address the situation and the safety of those present at the festival is always our top priority.”
