Julian Cash and Ladid Glaidol became the first pairing of all the British winning the marital title of men in Queens in the open era with victory in the tie match against Nicolas Miktik and Michael Venus.

Cash and Glasspool 6-3 6-7 (5-7) won 10-6 to win the third and fourth ATP title since their partnership last year.

“It was a great year so far,” Cash said. “It is really good to start the grass season strongly. I hope we can move forward at Wimbledon.”

The British took control of the first group and were on their way to end the victory with a break in the second before fighting Cruza Mittik and New Zealand Venus to take it to a draw, which they did.
