Rebecca Morrison hopes that the team bearing its name “in the peak in appropriate times” will continue in the Scottish Championship for this year.

Senior researchers in the country will go to face in this event that begins in Dumfries Ice Bowl on Sunday.

Not only the national pride that is at stake next week, because the performance in the national championship is part of the selection criteria for the World Championship for the upcoming men and women.

In the female event, the Morrison team, which Sophie Jackson, is overlooked, is among those looking to make their fingerprints.

They were the owners of European bronze medals just a few months ago, so they are not surprisingly optimistic about their horizons this time.

“It is very important,” Ebridone Morrison told BBC Scotland. “Of course, it is a choice for the world championship, we have won good support behind us, we won a European bronze medal this season.

“But we have to realize that there is Team Henderson, who will come behind us and they are passing through a wonderful season, so I am sure they will fight a difficult battle this week, and so are we.

“The Scottish championship is still incredibly important when it comes to choosing the world championship, especially if you have won two very identical teams.”

“We are arranging at appropriate times,” Morrison, who is looking to complete the Scottish titles, added.

“We are only looking at the peak in Scottish and then we hope it will be the world again. We have been able to do this earlier this season and the climax when we need to get this medal, so I think it's going well.”
