Mark Morrison, whose song returned from Mack in British plans in 1996
A battery shipment was dropped against British singer Mark Morrison – who is famous for his 1996 Mack 1996.
The 51 -year -old musician was held on Saturday after an alleged quarrel in Le Bar à Vin in Palm Beach, Florida. However, Al -Najm's lawyers confirmed today that he was in the restaurant to speak with the manager and try to collect payment on behalf of a local singer.
Although the “conversation escalated”, Mr. Morrison's lawyers said that there had not been any physical quarrel and now the police were able to reject the battery fees. In a statement, the King Legal Group Group said: “The Nolle Prosse decision (the refusal of prosecution) ends with what should have been a criminal issue in the first place.
“Mr. Morrison has constantly denied unambiguously to occur any battery. There was no physical quarrel – just asked for fairness and accountability. Evidence has never supported intentions or criminal behavior.”

The legal team explained how Mr. Morrison, who spent his return in Mack two weeks in the UK number one in April 1996, spent the values that stand for what he believes. However, they suggested that sweat played a role in how the singer was treated.
“While we feel comfortable, the state rejected the charge, the main context cannot be ignored. Refusal – along with the speed criminalized of the situation – raises legitimate concerns about whether the race has played a role in how Mr. Morrison was treated.
“Mr. Morrison has spent years in supporting local artists and defending what is right. This will not change. He is grateful to those who stood beside him, and he is still committed to raising the level of the artistic community in Palm Beach Province and beyond.
Mr. Morrison presented him in a blue suit before his release on Sunday morning. Music had a long history of musical success and legal problems. He exploded to the music scene in the mid -1990s, and enjoyed great success with Mac returning. The song has become a hymn of its time, which is widely considered one of the distinctive paths of R&B in the 1990s. Its success pushed Mr. Morrison to the spotlight, and soon became one of the most promising stars in this type.
