They added: “Llama Productions in Fortnite chose to replace the works of human artists with artificial intelligence technology. Unfortunately, they did this without providing any notice of their intention to do this and without bargaining with us with appropriate terms. We have submitted unfair fees to practice working with NLRB against Llama products.”
In the NLRB file, SAG said that Llama “failed and refused to bargain with good faith in the union by making changes from one side on the terms and conditions of employment, without making a notice to the union or the opportunity to bargain, by taking advantage of the votes created from artificial intelligence to replace the negotiation unit in the Fortnite program.”
