There were fears that he would miss the 2025 season, but Car decided to end his career after 11 seasons after talking to his wife Heather.

The former Fresno State star spent time with the two chants and saints during his term.

“When the prayer was reflected, and in the discussion with Heather, I decided to retire from the National Football League,” Car said in a statement. “For more than 11 years, we were incredibly blessed, and we are grateful and humble forever from this experience. It is difficult to find the right words to express our thanks to all our teammates, coaches, management, ownership, team officials, especially fans who made this journey very distinctive. Your firm support in the world was for us.”
