Captain Rachel Malcolm is absent as Scotland made two changes on their six trip to England on Saturday.

Malcolm suffered from a defeat from 25 to 17 at home by Italy at the end of last week, as did the Scrum-Half Leia Brebner-Holden.

Helen Nelson, half of Nelson, will lead the team in the absence of Malcolm.

Caity Mattinson ranked ninth, and Jade Konkel is ranked eighth where EVIE Gallagher moves to Fanker Blaker instead of Malcolm.

Rachel McCelils joins these two in the back row and will get her fifty hat, while Luke Becky Boyd remains in the team after her first began against the Italians.

There are three players who are not appointed to the bench, with GEMMA Bell from the front options, while Rhea Clake provides a cover in half half, and Rachel Philipps can make a potential appearance.

Scotland opened with victory over Wales, but now in the fifth place in the table after the defeats of France and Italy.

England, which aims to obtain a seventh consecutive title, leads the road with three additional victories.

England won all six six countries' meetings with Scotland, in the past five meetings that settled a total of 266-22.

“England has the ability to walk physically through you, and they have the ability to go to you,” said Brian Ison, coach of the national team. “It can strangle you defensively.

“They have a good team, one to 15, or I should say from one to 40. Regardless of the changes they make, they have international players who come.

“It is a huge task, but we are definitely.

“We were really disappointed by our performance against Italy, so this is an opportunity to put it in bed and for this group to show the progress we made.”
