Exclusive: The television sustainability sector and the production of films welcomes a new player.
Zsófia Szemeré, formerly the international director of the environment focused on the environment in BAFTA, has launched the entertainment score (LPE). The London and Budapest Sustainability Agency aims to close the space between the technical vision and the environmental responsibility in films, television, commercial and entertainment.
Szemerédy said it aims to “help the industry to see sustainability is not as a restriction, but as a creative power.”
As such, LPE will seek to help creators and production companies to find the “financial leverage point” for change by building sustainability considerations in the novel and budgets novel. This will help in carbon removal strategies, and work with companies to review their panels and policies on long -term sustainability practices.
Among other services, LPE will help include sustainability values in script programs through consultations, providing training, paintings and training courses for skills industry work. It will also help build sustainable elements in financing requests and provide wider strategic advice.
The likes of Cate Blancitt and Arnold Schwarznegger are among the great Hollywood stars who defend more sustainable production methods, while the BBC Tim Devi manager said last year that the content that focuses on climate change and sustainability provides “a tremendous opportunity.” Most of the main studios and production houses have pledged to have more green production, although it is complicated to measure whether this has a final effect.
Szemerédy, an expert in this field, will work primarily throughout the United Kingdom, Central, Eastern and Western Europe at launch, including in Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Chishia and Bluevia, and on a distinctive basis for the rest of the world.
Szemerédy said: “After more than a decade in films and television, I have seen how to tell stories to transform culture.” We are at the turning point, and each of us has a unique crane point to push a real change.
“With Point Point, we are here to help the industry to vision sustainability is not as a restriction, but as a creative power. From development to distribution, we want to support filmmakers and stakeholders in including sustainability in every list, budget and story.”
Besides working at Albert, Szemerédy was a co -founder and executive director of specialized sustainability consultations. She led global training efforts such as the International Screen Institute course. Lectures at the National Film and Television School and speak in industry events such as the Cannes Film Festival and EFM.

“We believe that the transformation comes from partnerships, not medical prescriptions.” “Whether it is a feature film, a cross series, or an industry training, our goal is to meet the teams in which they are and help them build a momentum towards a more sustainable future.”
