Vincent, the daughter of Angie Williams, suffers from cystic fibrosis, autism and scoliosis and says she will be able
PIP vulnerable people have accused the government of targeting the most vulnerable in society by stopping the benefits as part of the global credit and new personal independence bill.
This is despite the assertion of the Ministry of Works and Pensioners (DWP) that the demands of the benefits affected by the proposed changes on the PIP will protect their payments for 13 weeks.
The current prosecutors affected by the changes on the PIP Daily Living component, including those who lose their eligibility in the sponsorship allowances and the element of caregivers at Universal Credit, who will obtain additional protection, feels not anywhere.

Vincent Williams and From Hartlepool has cystic fibrosis, autism and scoliosis and is a history student at the University of Nottingham. My mother Angi also has multiple health conditions, including cancer, and her father is retaining.
“PIP is my lifestyle. If transferred, I will have no income but student financing – I will not be able to buy groceries and other basic necessities. I will not be able to live,” says Vincent, 20.
“I was applying for summer jobs – I have relevant experience, but I do not receive a response. The government says they want people to work, but how would they facilitate that?
“The companies are less willing to employ people with medical problems. I had a job in 2023 and told them about my medical problems when they rented me. But on the days I was sick and I needed to go to the hospital, there was no understanding. They made it clear that I was“ uncomfortable ”and the workplace was not supportive.
“The changes will affect my point registration system because I do not achieve four in any category – however my chest problems affects that in some days I can't breathe at all.
“I am really disturbed by the government. People voted for change and voted for a party they thought would be different, but what the Labor Party does oppose their partisan values.”
“Vincent was looking for work, but when people discover her cystic fibrosis and autism, they are not interested.
“There is a lot of discrimination. It is entering its third year and wants to teach, but who will take it?
A new transitional period was revealed for 13 weeks before the payments were suspended as part of the global credit payment bill and the new personal independence, which was released today.
Additional protection will apply to the current prosecutors affected by the changes in the PIP Daily Living component, including those who lose their eligibility to the provider of care providers and the element of the care provider in comprehensive credit.
DWP says this transition cover is more than three times the length of the protection provided from switching to the living allowance (DLA) to PIP.
DLA used to be the main benefit of disability in the UK until it was largely replaced by PIP. The Minister of Labor and Pensions, Liz Kendall, first announced proposals to change the PIP in the House of Commons in March this year, as part of the broader measures to reduce the benefits bill in billions of pounds.
Today, Mrs. Kendall, the work secretary and pensions, published a draft law payment of global credit and personal independence, claiming that it represents a “new social contract” and that it will bring the demands “peace of mind”) and has ended the transitional payments for three months for people who lose PIP is “one of the most transitional payments” that were presented as part of the benefit.
