Technology pole Mike Lynch and his daughter Hana were among the seven people who died when 56 -meter Baysi sank from the Sicily coast last August in the strong winds.
British investigators said that the strong winds caused the “super yacht” that caused “Baysi”.
But the crew on the 56 -meter boat was “unaware” for “weaknesses” of such harsh rituals and were powerless when storms fired the boat last August. Seven people, including the owner of the British yacht technology, died, Mike Lynch and his daughter Hana, in the tragedy off the Sicily coast.
A temporary report on the disaster branch in the Marine Accidents Investigation Branch (MAIB) shows that wind speeds amounted to 63.4 knots (73.0 miles per hour). The ship was in a “driving state” with a decrease in its sails, and the central plate – used to help in its stability – was in a “raised” position when Gales knocked the bowl.
The results are adopting a clearer picture of what happened in the moments before the disaster, and therefore the pluscinemaz.comis able to clarify this Tioday with a more detailed schedule for events, including how quickly the water reaches the bars of the meme after the boat sinks.

Since Bayesian was registered in the UK, MAIB is investigating the tragedy. Recaldo Thomas, who was working as a chef in the ship, was also killed by the president of Morgan Stanley International Bank, Jonathan Bloomer, his wife Judy Bloomer, the Clecorde Corporation Chris Morvilo and his wife Nida Morvilo.
Speaking today, Simon Griffs, a MAIB investigator, said: “Speaking today, where the winds that drive the ship were deployed, then you have the stability of the ship trying to push the ship back again.
“What our studies found is that they show that Baysi may be vulnerable to strong winds and that these winds are likely to be clear at the time of the accident.”
Mr. Griffs said that the book of stability information did not consider the effects of the wind “because the sails did not raise and that the ship” works on its engine “before drowning.
Part of the report says: “There was no indication of the floods inside Baysi until the water entered over the meme bars, and within seconds, the inner spaces entered the bottom of the stairs,” says part of the report.
How to reveal the tragedy of Baysi
MAIB stressed that this is a temporary report based on limited evidence verified. The investigation continues, and with more information available, a larger report will be issued. However, the results provide a painful collapse of the events of August 19, 2024;
- 00.30 in the morning – After examining the weather, the captain and the last guest retired, leaving Dechand (DH1) and The Evening Steward (S1) in the service. DHKHAND II (DH2) seized an hour by 01:00 am.
- 03.57 in the morning – The wind had captured up to 30 km (35 miles per hour) and Baysi was glorifying and pulling his anchor. Within a minutes, Deckhand ran to awaken the captain, jumped the crew to work and began preparing for the Baysi maneuver by starting generators and steering pumps. The rest of the crew got up, either the captain or changing the yacht in a movement, and set their way out of the staff.
- 4.06 in the morning – The wind suddenly increased to more than 70 km (80.5 miles per hour), and the umbrella tears away. Bayesi “heels violently” in less than 15 seconds to an angle of 90 degrees. The sudden movement and the shortcut sent people in addition to the furniture that flies across the deck, leaving five people, including the injured captain while throwing at sea.
- 04.24 am – The captain and chief officer launched a feverish form of the flood of life from the wreckage of drowning. It was amplified and the survivors were able to enter it as the crew began to manage the first aid. The leader tried to raise the alarm by screaming and rowing towards the nearby ship, Sir Robert Baden Powell.
