The director of the Mercedes Toto Wolf team says that Red Paul's protest was “trivial” and “embarrassing”, as George Russell ranked first before world champion Max Versaben in the Canadian Canadian award race on Sunday.
Russell won the Mercedes I win this season, as the race ended under the safety car, where Lando Norris hit an Oscar Piaseri, his colleague in McLaren, on the hole directly with four rolls.
Red Ball came to protest, claiming that Russell led “wrongly” behind the safety car and offered “non -athletic behavior”, but was rejected by the referees.
“First of all, it took Red Bull Racing two hours before the protest, so he was doing them,” Wolf told Sky Sports at the premiere of F1.

Red Paul coach Christian Horner, who also attended the film, suggested that he did not regret submitting a complaint.

On Sunday's dispute was not the first time that Red Paul and Mercedes hunt this season. In the Spanish Grand Prix, Max Versaben said from Red Paul that “frustration” led to his collision with George Russell.
