WASHINGTON – The Trump administration announced on Tuesday that it was canceling another $ 450 million from Harvard University grants after Ivy League failed repeatedly to suppress discrimination in the race and anti -Semitism on the campus.
“There is a dark problem on the campus of Harvard University, and by giving priority to recovering on accountability, the leaders of the institutions have asked the school to support taxpayers,” said Trump's joint work team members to combat anti -Semitism in a statement.
“Harvard University, and its leadership group contaminated with terrible violations under its observation, is facing a highly declining battle to restore its legacy as a legal institution and an academic excellence center.”
The cuts come from at least eight different federal agencies.
The move comes after the end of the work group – which includes the education, health and humanitarian services departments, as well as the Public Services Department – $ 2.2 billion last week.
Harvard University representatives did not immediately respond to the comment.
