Black Desert Online and The Descendant are the latest titles to give up AGing PlayStation 4 and Xbox One support.
After nearly a contract of service, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be closed from Black Desert Online on June 26.
The creators at the developer Pearl Abyss said they are converting the focus to the current PC version and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | The new S completely.
Inside game purchases are set for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players to restrict.
Players will be able to continue playing – and pick up from where they stop – only if they wear a new console.
When Black Desert Online is finally available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S after maintenance, players may continue on PS and Xbox platforms concerned with all their reserved data.
All game data will be stored, including the purchased elements and the coin in the game and access to these platforms.
The first descendant also ends the support of keyboards from the last generation, less than a year after its launch for the first time.
The title is scheduled to be stopped on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from June 19, just two weeks before the first anniversary of the game.
The NEXON Creators have installed the decision on the “increasing range” of the game.
The developer added that the team was spending “a lot of effort and the difficulty of maintaining PlayStation 4 and Xbox One” before closing.
It was the first descendant on a decline path during the past few months, as the number of players is diminished, according to The Gamer.
There are a number of reasons that make games lose support for old key devices, such as development costs and hardware restrictions.
Old devices cannot keep pace with modern game features, making it difficult to introduce new content smoothly on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
