A couple of drones destroyed the Russian radar system and military warehouse facilities on the gas production platform in the Black Sea on Monday, according to the security service in Ukraine (SBU).
The strike followed an attack on drones in Russia on Saturday, which Kiev said was the largest registered so far in a 3 -year bloody war.
SBU footage shows the first drone to rise across the Black Sea and crashed into the gas production tower, and is said to be out of the Russian Niva radar used to monitor air attacks.
A second drone flew under the factory for a follow -up strike, which was aimed at destroying the military warehouses that Ukraine said was held in the facility.
“We once again mentioned the enemy that there is no Russian scrap that has a place in the Black Sea,” SBU said in a statement.
The agency added: “The security service in Ukraine continues to develop and implement unique special operations to purify the Black Sea from the Russian invaders, their military equipment and other equipment.”
SBU's claims cannot be checked independently.
The Black Sea remained a major position to the conflict in the Ukraine war after Moscow undermined the US -backed maritime deal in March.
Since then, KYIV has found success with her drones against Russian military sites, including sites that brought out a SU-30 combat aircraft earlier this month.
