Great Britain and Ireland have defeated the continent of Europe to seal Vagliano's first victory since 2005.
In the wake of the Curtis Cup victory over the United States last September, GB & I women held their nerves again in a match every two years, winning 12-11 at Royal Hague Golf & Country Club in the Netherlands.
Under the leadership of Captain Maria Don, the GB & I found itself to give up by one heading to the individual with Europe claiming two early wins.
However, the GB & I team with the English trio resisted Rhodes, Nellie ONG and ISLA MCDONALD-O'Brien, all records in the registration of both Aine Donegan and another player in England, Sophia Fullbrok, they got GB & I at the winning line at a great end to demand his first victory in 20 years.
“It was an incredible day,” he said.
“I said to the team early this morning that I have a really good feeling towards today. They did the mission in the captains, and the momentum went on our way and they just fought. I told them last night” continued to fight, and continue to fight for every point or half a point, “and this is exactly what they did.”
Rhodes, Donijan, Beth Coulter, Loti Wadi and Hana Darling was part of the team that won the Cortis Cup and played their role again.
Woad and Cououlter lost to Paula Martin Sambedro and Carolina Lopez Chakara Koto, respectively, but things began to turn into GB & I in the ONG 6 and 5 victory, and above McDonald-Obein from Camel Mingir 2 and 1 to withdraw visitors before Rhodes received another computer in the tray.
