On March 2, the emerging author shared the diagnosis of cancer on Facebook along with a picture of the post -ventilation stage.
“I am here to thank the amazing team here, which pulled me during a complex operation without an obstacle,” she wrote.
“I am always very grateful to every second of the sympathetic and excellent medical care that I receive in my life.
Thanks to all the great health care workers, who take our lives in your hands. And let us breathe. “

A few weeks later, Lauren shared an update on her surgeries and thanked the followers for their “overwhelming” support.
“I'm fine and healing today,” she wrote.

The health update comes less than three weeks before being shot in the shoulder by the officers after he claimed that she waved a gun on them from the grass.
The officers were looking for the area near her home in Los Angeles for three suspects participating in a non -relevant beating.
The police say that the suspects had escaped from the location of a collision on the highway, which led them to chase them at the neighborhood level.
