Jennifer Dodds aims to winter gold medals in winter, as the Curling team with the first athletes officially confirmed in Milan-Cortina 2026.
With a silver medal for the first time, Bruce Mwat and the ski circuit aims to improve in Italy next year.
Mouat, along with Grant Hardy, Bobby Lami and Hamey McMelan Junior, were beaten tightly by Sweden in the 2022 final.
Dodds cooperated with Eve MuirHead, Vicky Wright and Hailey Duff in Beijing, where Britain topped the platform for the first time in 20 years.
This time, Rebecca Morrison and Sophie Senkler will join her and skip Sophie Jackson.
“Winning gold was the last time it was a real dream, so I am excited to return there, it is clear with a new team,” Duds told BBC Scotland.
“We have built a lot over the past two seasons and I am excited to see where the course of our performance can go over the next eight months.
“I knew a couple of girls for a long time, but this is the thing, we may have to build this group work, build friendships and feel that we did it really good. I think you can see our shows, our teamwork has improved, and a great part of that is communication and understanding each other.”
Mouat's Scotland Rink Gold won the World Championship for the second time this year, as European champions were on four occasions.
Curler Edinburgh now wants to add Olympic gold to their achievement list.
“We were close to the last time,” he said. “It has reached the issue of centimeters in the final. It was difficult at the time, but we really wore and we got our world championships and now we have 10 titles in the four major championships, so we have a lot of momentum.”
