Northern Ireland will face Iceland in the upgrade/landing match in the Women's Nations, while the Republic of Ireland has been drawn against Belgium.

The Republic of Ireland is in the separation matches after it won the first place in the B2 and Northern Ireland in reaching the highest level for the first time after completing the second place to Poland in the B1 group.

Northern Ireland will host Iceland – which ranked third in Group A2 – in the first stage, with the Republic of Ireland in its home in Belgium in the opening match.

“We know that Belgium is a very good team with a strong history in women's football, so this will be a difficult challenge for us, but we are excited to practice,” said Carla Ward, Director of the Republic of Ireland.

“After winning five of the six group matches in the Nations League and ending with a very good performance against Slovenia, we are building day after day, a game in the game.”

Finland will face Denmark and will play the Czech Republic in Austria in other relations.

The matches will be held in October, with more details that have not been confirmed yet.
