World Aquatics has become the first international union to prohibit athletes, coaches and officials from its events if they participate in controversial games.
The new event encourages performance reinforced drugs, and the opening overall inaugural games are scheduled to be held from Las Vegas from 21 to 24 May 2026.
There are plans to be an annual competition, initially that include short -distance, running and weightlifting swimming.
Last month, improved gaming organizers said that Christian Galumomiv swapped 20.89 seconds in a 50 -meter experience in the United States in the United States in February, and faster 0.02 seconds than the world record set by Brazilian Cesar Silo in 2009.
The water world said that it has provided new regulations “enhances its fixed commitment to clean sport.”

Dr. Aaron Dzouza, president and founder of the improved games, said in a statement that the ban was not “about the protection of athletes” but about the protection of monopoly.
He added that the authority will provide “legal support against global water in the event of any challenge.”

“In improved games, athletes have what traditional federations have never given: choice, fairness and real money. We offer a medically supervising and focusing on safety, as the performance is rewarded, and it is not prepared by ancient ideology.
“The real danger to sport is not science. It is a stagnation. It strengthens it enhances a better future – where athletes are enabled, improvements are adopted with responsibility and distinction is properly compensated.”
The improved games were criticized for endangering the health of athletes and undermining fair play, as the World Anti -Doping Agency described it as a “dangerous and irresponsible project.”and external

World Aquatics said it also encouraged member associations to “adopt similar policies at the national level to support the standards that are consistent throughout sports.”
